Annual Reports


National Flag was designed in the year 1921 at Vijayawada on 31st March. The Trust has been celebrating the function since the year 2002 and future citizens of India, the school children are being awarded for their talents. This is 87th year of Jathiya Pathaka Avirbhava Dinothsavam and the trust celebrated two days function at Vijayawada on 31.03.2007 and 01.04.2007 in memory of Sri Venkaiah on 31.03.2007 the programme was conducted under the  leadership of Padmasri Dr.Turlapati Kutumba Rao, Sri Malladi Vishnu, Chairman VUDA, Sri  Arige Raja Dhanunjaya and other dignitaries were present Smt.  K.H.S. Jagadamba presented the annual report. The cultural programme was conducted by P.V.S.N. Sharma. In the school children presented the dance drama and the prizes of were given to the students who won the competitions in essay writing and singing competitions conducted in different schools.

On 01.04.2007, the second day programme was continued at Vijayawada.

Sri Lokanadha Sharma, Advocate presided the meeting and mayor of Vijayawada Mallika Begum was the Chief Guest. Sri Malladi Vishnu Chairman VUDA, attended as special guest, Smt. Lanka Sitha Convener of the Trust and representative of Delhi presented the report. She informed that the trust is expanding the programmes actively to inculate the habit of respecting the flag, country and the leaders who were the basic cause for Om freedom and patriotism in children through schools. The programme has been successfully going on in 3000 schools, mainly in Krishna District the birth place of Sri P. Venkaiah. She is expecting more cooperation from the Govt officials to expand the activities.

Sri Yogi Ramesh A.P.S.R.T.C. Chairman, Sri Y.K.D. Prasad, Executive Member, Telugu University, Kunchipudi and other dignitaries were present.
On 02.08.2007 at Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, Chikkadpalli, Hyderabad 130th Birth Anniversary was conducted by the Trust Dr.C. Narayana Reddy presided the function and Sri Raja Nara Simha, Minister of Education (Schools) A.P. was the chief guest. Smt. K.H.S. Jagadamba, Secretary of Sri P. Venkaiah Smaraka Samstha & Trust gave her welcome address.

Other VIPs present were Sri Mandali Buddha Prasad. Minister of Animal Husbandry, Sri Turlapati Kutumba Rao and Former MLA Sri Bodduluri Rama Rao and Sri Maddali Rama Rao founder of Founder of Kinnera Arts Theatre.

Smt. K. Sugunamani, well Known Social workers and Former President, Andhra Mahila Sabha was felicitated on the occasion.

Smt. L.Sita convener of Trust Delhi presented the report on the activities prizes were awarded to the students of various schools for winning the essay writing and National song singing competitions held by the trust.            

Sri. Yollapolli Krishna entertained with his cultural programme mainly songs on Sri P. Venkaiah’s life history. The programme was conducted successfully.
